Led by Head Coach Justin Hughes and Assistant Coach Ryan Stjernholm, the girls played with confidence, creativity, and the kind of teamwork that defines what it means to be part of the Ascent family.

The team set the tone early Saturday morning with a commanding 7–3 victory, showing off sharp passing and fearless attacking play. They followed it up with an incredible 10–0 shutout that afternoon — a true statement win that showcased their ability to control possession and create scoring opportunities from all over the field.

Sunday morning brought more of the same high-energy play, as the girls earned a decisive 5–1 victory to secure their spot in the championship match. In the final, the 2016/2017G squad dug deep and battled to the end, grinding out a hard-fought 3–2 win to capture 1st place and the tournament title.
